BrScan's ECM solution allows online access to documents across customer's enterprise
structure, automating processes and providing improved control of operations.

Enterprise Content Management (ECM) comprises a set of strategies, methods and tools used to capture, manage, store, preserve and deliver content and documents related to organizational processes. ECM strategies, methods and tools allow the appropriate management of the information of any organization, wherever that information might be.

Content must be managed so that it is used to achieve the entrepreneurial goals set by our customers. The tools and technologies used to implement an ECM strategy are the main keys for its success. Technology can enable streamlined management of content, but the underlying strategy must come first.

Stage 1 – Data Capturing and Transferring

The way one captures and transfers images should be adherent to the any client's processes, that may be centralized or not.

The decentralized digitization system is one in which the client performs the image capturing in several locations (branches, points of sale, resellers, regional offices, etc) and send them promptly and securely to a single database. The image capturing can be performed by a scanner, a digital camera or even by a camera-equipped cell phone.

The centralized digitization is a system that allows the client to send documents in a controlled manner directly to BrScan or to a specific area within the client's premises to perform the digitization procedures. Such procedures can be performed by our highly trained professionals or by the client's own personnel, trained by us.

Stage 2 – Management of Digitized Data

BrScan developed a complete solution package that manages the image upload to the server, as well as image storage and indexing.

It also provides for managing the reception of content from other databases, even external ones, and cross-matching them against the information associated with the digitized images.

Stage 3 – WEB Portal

BrScan develops customized web portals for clients, where several options are made available for viewing the digitized document database, update reports, system manuals, etc.
