BrScan has developed a solution that allows the use of facial recognition technology to identify document counterfeiting. The facial recognition system solution can be put into practice using a customer's picture taken at the point of the sale or using an ID photo.

This process analyses the image, identifies a face on it, creates a biometrical code and associates it with the customer's ID data.

For every new document obtained during any other interaction of the customer, BrScan solution checks the biometrical code against the database, and if the face has already been associated with another customer, the tentative fraud will be identified.
